Bob Shipman Celebrates 5-Year Anniversary!

 Bob celebrates his 5-year anniversary with the church on April 10.

He serves Christ Community Church as a Front Desk Greeter.  In this position Bob is responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors of the church during the week.

 Bob is married to Deloris Shipman.  They have been married for 42 years and have two daughters and six precious grandchildren.  Bob and his wife, Deloris, became members of Christ Community Church in 2011.  While not at church Bob enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

 His favorite Bible verse is Psalms 23, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.  He restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.  Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Bob is a delightful person and the staff feels blessed to have him as part of the team.  We congratulate Bob on his completing 5 years of employment at the church.

Congratulations to Jennifer Malone, Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor, who celebrates her 8 year anniversary with the church on April 5 and to Connie Tew, Administrative Assistant to the Pastor of Membership, who celebrates her 3 year anniversary on April 14.  Thank you both for you faithful service.
