New Members Class

16 People Deepened Their Commitment Sunday and Joined CCC!

This past Sunday, sixteen people decided that Christ Community was the place that God would have them join! After taking CLASS 101 “Discovering Church Membership”, they signed on the line and committed themselves not only to Christ, but to other Christians! I applaud their self-less decisions!  By doing so, they became a true part of our family. They will now be assigned a Deacon to care for them in times of need or distress, they will receive a level of care that goes above and beyond, they now have the right to vote on any and all church matters brought before the church in conference and they are now a PART of the FELLOWSHIP!   God is doing great things and CCC is a great place not — only to “believe” but also to “BELONG”!

GroupConnect

Join us for GroupConnect  this upcoming Sunday, January 15th following the 9:00 and 11:00am services in the Connecting Point Room. GroupConnect is the primary way to join a small group for adults. During GroupConnect you will meet new and existing small group leaders ready to invite you to join one of many CCC small groups. Stop in, introduce yourself, have a snack and enjoy a cup of coffee.

You Can Join Christ Community This Sunday @ 4PM

NEW MEMBER CLASS this Sunday, January 8th @ 4pm

CLASS 101 – “Introduction to our Church Family”

You were designed to be a part of a church family. And that’s exactly what CCC is intended to be – your family. A healthy family has common beliefs, purposes and commitment. That’s why at Christ Community we want to share with you what we believe and where we’re going, so you can make an informed decision about church membership.

God wants all of us to grow in worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism. We use the words BELIEVE, CONNECT, GROW, SERVE and GO!  It’s by balancing those five purposes that we truly live out God’s plan for our life.  More than anything else, the CCC family wants to come alongside  you and help you grow in all five of these areas.

Our NEW MEMBER CLASS is the basic introduction to our church family and is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is.  It is broken into four sessions covering:   Our Strategy, Our Statements, Our Structure and Our Salvation.  I teach the first half of the class and Alan Higgins and Derrick Seegars teach the second half.  At the end, there will be an opportunity for you to decide whether to complete the process by completing a Membership Application or you may choose to wait and decide at another time. No pressure whatsoever, we want you to be comfortable with whichever you choose. I hope to meeting you personally this SUNDAY at 4PM!  No reservations necessary, just show up at 4 and we’ll take care of the rest!
