Ways to Give

Ways to Give

The Bible encourages believers to excel in giving, “But as you abound in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us – see that you abound in the grace of giving also” (2 Cor. 8:7). Below is a list of the many ways to giving financially to Christ Community Church.

Online Giving

Online Giving is an easy, fast, and safe way to give to Christ Community Church. In fact, it is the recommended method for all church members and regular attenders. Online Giving makes it easier for you to faithfully honor God through your giving. It is a faithful commitment and decision to honor God with the “First Fruits” of our labor (cf. Prov. 3:9). Because of the simplicity and consistency of this method of giving, it enables ministry to continue with great confidence even when you are out of town and unable to give through the offering plate. Automated Giving can be set up to draft from your credit, debit, checking or savings account at regular intervals that you select (e.g. one time, weekly, every two weeks, monthly). If you prefer to give twice each month, you should set up two monthly transactions. We hope you will prayerfully consider automatic giving.

A NOTE CONCERNING CREDIT CARDS: While we allow the use of credit cards for contributions, we strongly encourage the use of giving through checking or savings rather than credit/debit card for two primary reasons:

  1. Although many pay off their credit cards each month, many people do not. We do not want to encourage someone to go into debt and pay interest on gifts given to the church.
  2. With checking and savings, the church incurs a 35 cents fee. When using a credit card or even a debit card, as much as 3.5% of your gift can go to the credit card company.

Offering Plate

The Offering Plate is passed near the conclusion of each of our weekend worship services. If you use this method, we ask that you use one of the pink envelopes (available in the pocket of each chair) to help track your contributions. Please make your check payable to Christ Community Church. It is important to include your information on the pink envelope.

Giving Kiosks

The Giving Kiosks allow you to make electronic donations while on our campus. While the offering plates allow you to give by way of cash or check, the Giving Kiosks allow you the opportunity to make a donation with a debit or credit card. You will receive a receipt via email as well as a printed receipt which can be placed in the offering plate if you so desire.

By Mail

If you did not come prepared to give during one of our weekend worship services, feel free to take one of the pink envelopes with you. They are Business Reply Envelopes (BRE) and do not require you to pay postage. You can simply mail the envelope through the United States Postal Service and postage is already covered. If you don’t have a pink envelope you can mail your contribution to the address below, but in this case … don’t forget the stamp!
