What We Believe About Worship

Worship is living in obedience to God in every area of our life. Worship is our personal and corporate response to God, in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24) for Who He is and what He has done. Though singing is not the only avenue to worship, we do believe it is a vital part of worshipping our Savior (Psalm 66:1-2). We believe all Christians are called to be worship leaders according to Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and that our corporate worship should be authentic in its purpose and transparent in its presentation.

The message that our music and songs communicate is of utmost importance to us. Whether our music is loud or soft, fast or slow, new or old, with a full band or without, matters little in comparison to the message of the song. It is important to us that the songs accurately reflect the Bible.

Children's Worship

We have special worship services for children held every other month called "Highway LIVE!" These high energy kids' worship services are fun for the whole family. Visit the "News & Events Blog" for up-to-date information about upcoming worship services for children.

We also have Children's Small Groups for kids that meet every Sunday morning at both 9am and 11am called Highway GROUPS! Our Highway Groups consists of Bible teaching, worship time, and a craft. (2nd Floor of Building B)

Our Nursery & Preschool Department offers worship and biblical teaching each Sunday at both 9am and 11am each Sunday. (1st Floor of Building B)

Youth Worship
